Don’t Miss “Pull Up & Vote” Tonight! 🇺🇸

In Beats + Bytes by Nue Agency

This year’s election is the most important of our lifetime.

In many ways, the country is at a fork in the road and our leadership will be key in determining the path we take.

The next few weeks are going to be a wild ride and it can’t be stressed enough how important it is to exercise your civic duty and vote.

Voting isn’t as simple as showing up to the polls, though. You need to register, of course, but you also need a plan. Are you voting with an absentee ballot? By mail? In person? You need to be informed, understand what is required by your individual state, and act NOW.

To that end, we’re proud to provide our readers and viewers with the needed information to have their voices heard. Tonight at 9pm EST there will be an online “Pull Up & Vote” rally hosted on Complex and produced in part by the Nue Agency.

The event will feature appearances by Barack Obama, Tamika Mallory (host), Questlove (DJ set), Yara Shahida, SZA, Usher, A$AP Ferg, Chloe x Halle, Jack Harlow, SAINt JHN, Jennifer Hudson, will.i.am, and amazing activists like Amanda Gorman, Elaine Welteroth, Nupol Kiazolu, and Congresswoman Ayanna Presley. The conversation will cover a bevy of topics including racial justice, climate change, police brutality, immigration and, most immediately, EARLY VOTING!

To learn more, get inspired, and make your vote count, tune in tonight at 9pm EST on Complex.

On a related note, we are approaching “Gala Season,” which clearly won’t be the same this year. One organization that successfully pivoted their event online is The Resolution Project. Their Resolve 2020 event is raising funds to lift up young entrepreneurs who want to make the world a better place. Ryan Leslie is performing on Wednesday as part of the final day’s festivities. I am on the TRP board, so if you’re feeling up to it, I’d love for you to support and attend. I’m a big believer in the founding team and their mission to support the entrepreneurial spirit globally among those who do not have the same exposure to education and resources.
