We’ve known about this for a while now, but as we look at the full list of XXL’s freshman class someone seems to be missing. XV recently dropped his mixtape, conveniently named 30 Minute Layover, to keep us occupied until the release of his album Vizzy Zone.

If you’ve doubted his talent, this 30 minute mixtape is the perfect opportunity to get a small taste of what XV has to offer. Some notable tracks are his creative freestyle over B.O.B’s “Nothin on you,” “Lift the game,” and listen for his jab at XXL in “Top of the World.” This mixtape warrants all the criticism toward XXL for leaving Vizzy off the freshman class list. However, if you think about last year’s list, there were a couple of artists that didn’t do so well. At the end of the day, you can’t deny XV’s talent… he’s “awesome“
