First and foremost, I have to applaud Wale for using the movie “500 Days Of Summer” to masterfully provide context for the ”The Break Up Song.” This video is great. This is why I, why NUE Agency, appreciate Wale & his music so much. Amidst the Lex Lugar hyper-energetic anthems that are ruling the airwaves and starting fights in hoods, schools and churches, Wale provides us with the balance we need. Let’s be honest, no one wants to listen to “Hard In the Paint” when they’re relaxing & chillin‘. Once in a while, people appreciate a well told story and a thoughtful music video.
Be sure to watch out for Wale in the near future making some major moves as the newest and prized member of Rick Ross’s Maybach Music Group. We hope you like the video and wait a minue… is that Morgan Freeman?
