A little bit about Turntable.fm:
Turntable.fm is an interactive online music chatroom that streams music chosen by a variety of online DJs in the room. The DJs create playlists and the station rotates between these playlists allowing users in the room to vote on how “lame” or “awesome” each specific track is. DJs get points for “awesome” votes and get their song bumped for too many “lame” votes. You can be your own online DJ for Turntable.fm listeners everywhere!
Turntable.IRL (In Real Life) is going to be the first live Turntable.fm event featuring Turntable.fm’s most popular online DJ – DJ Wooooo. Alongside an online Turntable.fm DJ at home, one in the audience, and a celebrity DJ, DJ Wooooo is going to turn the Turntable.fm experience to a live party at the Paley Center after hearing from co-founders, Billy Chasen and Seth Goldstein. You won’t want to miss this!
